This is an incredibly comfortable and compact 1950’s armchair chair, perfect for a bedroom or smaller sitting room. It has been reupholstered in “Hedgerow” – a gorgeous contemporary fabric by Angie Lewin (one of Britain’s leading printmakers, according to The Sunday Times). For practical reasons the seat has been covered in a darker colour picking out the blue/green from the fabric. I commisssioned two Chaffinches – a typical hedgerow bird – to be embroidered on either side, incorporating small pieces of the patterned fabric into the design to create a one-off piece. Completely unique
