Iron back Chaise

Genuinely one of the most extraordinary pieces we have made here at PGV.
Kate approached us with her beloved chaise of unknown origin, desperately sagging and looking like it was covered in an old, but stylish, carpet. I was delighted when she accepted our quote as I could see from the get-go how we could completely reinvent it. Thus started a 6 month odyssey.
It turned out to be a rare iron frame sofa so everything had to be handstitched back into place, firstly she chose the beautiful Beata Heuman marbled fabric, that we had recommended, then we sourced a wonderful bronze velvet for the borders so that you could really appreciate the unusual shape. Finally we used fantastic gold passmenterie to complete it, creating a truly remarkable heirloom.
