Ligne Roset Sofa

This sofa was a true labour of love! An enormous piece breaking down into two parts but with loose-fitted covers. Meaning miles and miles of hidden velcro underneath to get an upholstered look whilst actually being removable.
The client chose a velvet which unfortunately has almost no stretch so the fit had to be beyond perfect. Ligne Roset are extremely well designed, if sometimes quite complicated. The wonderful Christian Lacroix tropical cushions were all attached by zips and the sofa itself had a series of interior flanges to hold the velvet snugly to the frame. A complex journey but everyone was delighted with the finished result.
